Bill of material did not exploded in sales order

Bill of material did not exploded in slaes order . though strucure scope is checked. can you help me to solve this ticket.

Display range UALL is there...what else is required for a bill of material to exploed and what all may be the possible reason not exploding in sales order.

Hi,

Check item category group for the sub items and check categories determination in v0v4.

And during sales order check the plant in which BOM maintained

and also check in the item category we have to maintain the BOM details pease check ?

Hi,

Bill of materials are two types header and item level bill of materials.

1) Header level BOM: Haeder item relevent for delivery and billing and sub items are not relevent for billing and delivery

above process is SAP standared and based on the requirement you can change billing relevancy and scheduleines if

requuremnt is diffrent.

Item category GROUP : ERLA (For main item)

sub item category group : Norm (sub item)

Check item category determination TC-VOV4 as below

sales document type = or

tem category group =erla

usage=

higher level item category=

item category = TAQ

For sub item

Check item category determination TC-VOV4 as below

sales document type = or

tem category group =NORM

usage=

higher level item category= TAQ

item category = TAE

Create bill of materials (CS01)

Material=header material

palnt = (xyz) same plant should be shown the sales order

BOM USAGE=5

Thanks all, got the hint from creation of bill of material.

actually quotation was created before the creation of bill of material and while creating sales order it was refered from quotation...so bom is not explodeing...

Hi Rahul,

In this case you activate re-explode bill of materials for the copy controls of quotation to sales order (VTAA)
