HI All,

How the Validations & Assignments will work on Web Tab in MDM 7.1?

Scenario: As we have a Links Option in MDM Console(Rep->Admin->Links). if we write any custom java code and assisgn it to the links as URL Parameters, then we can get the given url as Web Tab in MDM Data Manager.

Question : How Can we Run Validations & Assignments for the given Web Tabs ?

HI Mahesh,

Really intresting I must say

The Console Reference guide says -

1.The links are record specific and record values can be passed outside MDM to outside world.

2.It has its own syntax for passing parameter to Custom application/website.

Each URL you add to the Links table is automatically added to the drop-down list for the applicable configuration option in MDM Data Manager.

I guess it will be difficult to serve the purpose of validating and assigning values with this.

A more useful purpose may be getting the areacode with region field value in a web page.
