Advanced Layout Designer - example XML files

Hi

I've installed the Add-on "Advanced Layout Designer", but haven't got any example XML layout-files. Is it possible to download such files, and where can I find them?

Does it exist system documentation witch describes editing methods when using "Advanced Layout Designer"?

Is there a link between "Advanced Layout Designer" and "List & Labels"?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, and thanks for fast replay

Should I buy the standard "List and Labels 10" from Combit (www.combit.net), if I want to create my own "Marketing documents printing layouts" with the List and labels tool?

Does it exist any example List and labels files (.lst) to get started?

Once you have installed and launched the Advanced Layout Designer add-on, whenever you edit a marketing document or create a user query, you can choose if you want to use the standard Layout Designer for SAP Business One (as per V6.5) or the new Advanced Layout Designer (based on L&L) for the report design. (It prompts you when you click on the document editing button).

As far as I can see you do not need to buy "List and Labels 10" if all you want to do is create layouts for marketing documents inside a Business One system. This basic functionality is provided without having to buy extra licenses.

You might however want to buy L&L 10 if you want to add a custom report generator into your own add-ons.

I have not seen any sample layouts.

The "Advanced layout designer" is the "List and Labels" report control with SAP Business One extensions wrapped around it to integrate it into the product.

When you install the advanced layout designer there are some CHM help files installed in the "...\SAP Business One\AddOns\SAP\AdvancedLayoutDesigner" folder. These include details on how to edit reports.
