Get the Price from last Purchase Order

Hi experts,

We would like to have the price of the last Purchase Order each time we add a component to an activity (or to the unit costing of a cost activity).

Is this possible?

Is there any of the the options in the valuation variant in the Costing Variant for planned cost which suits our requirements?

maintain the valuation variant strategy as price from purchasing info record. so that price would be updated from the latest PO.

What happens if I have more than one vendor?

in this case i don't see the feasibility, because say if you have 3 vendors supplying one material then how do you know which

vendor price is the best? how this comparison would happen in the system?

I think we have to go for user exist to map this. Discuss further with your MM/FI consultant.

The best vendor price would be the last one.

We are going to try with the use-exit.
