Hi,

we have installed XI 3.0 SP3. And all other components till SP3.

We want to upgrade it to XI 3.0 SP9.

Could anyone tell the order of installation and dependencies for SP9 and any relavent SAP notes will be very helpful.

Thanks

service.sap.com/sp-stacks

check uonder SAP netweaver 04 for Xi related patches.

At the top of the list there is a "Click Here" against DOCUMENTATIOn. This has the SP Stack Guide 10.

Just follow the steps as int he guide without any deviation.

I have the Stack guide for 09 also. Leve me your mail id and I can send it to you.

All this information is described in note 750511.

As SP10 is available, it might be useful to go install SP10 instead of SP9.

Hi Stefan,

We are running XI3.0 SP4 ....There is a hesitation to upgrade to SP10....Are there known issues that have been resolved in SP10? Right now we have absolutely no problem running SP4...But we haven't got into complex functionalities like BPM...Is there something like a Note that would tell us the known problems prior to SP09 and how upgrade to SP10 is a better solution??

Thanks,

Teresa

Hi Theresa,

we upgrades to SP10 and the sub patches, mainly because we had errors with archiving, EOIO queues and other AFW bugs.

So far SP10 is stable. You can go to each SP stack on the download and see what OSS Notes are included and see if that area affects you.

Cheers

Hi Stefan,

I know I can see the downloads of SP's at service.sap.com/support but How do I see the OSS notes rectified by each support pack??

Click on the info button next to each stack file. It has all teh OSS ntoes included int hat patch. Also, once you download a ptach, another samll file also gets downloaded with the details contained in that patch.

Another way,

transaction OSS1 in SAP lso give the details.
