Just by importing the Software Component Version (SWCV) from the SLD will not provide you with any message types to be used for mapping. The SWCV is a place holder (or "folder") in the IR where development objects (e.g. data type, message type, mappings, etc.) can be created or imported.

SWCV is used for transport and for versioning.

Sekhar , procedure depends on wat u want to map. To map src & trg u need metadata , which can be built from scratch(create "Data Type" objects) or can be imported from external definition(frm already existing XSDs, DTDs).SAP specific metadata(IDOCs,RFCs) can be imported under "imported objects".

if u wish to use the Graphical mapping in XI, select the src and trg structure in the maping editor and play around with mapping features available in the editor according to ur need.
