What is SAP Portal | KM CM | WdfProxy | render?

Can someone tell me what the WdfProxy render is doing?

It is responsible for some large response time in many Java iViews on our portal (EP5 SP6).

    It depends on which iViews it is. However, in the EP6 portal the WdfProxy class is used for rendering the flexible UI in CM.

    Hi Darrell,

    It is happening in all our news iViews which could indeed be using this flexible UI. Thanks for the quick reply, it gives me some more to work with.

    I could use some more detailed information about the WdfProxy render if any avalible. Does it make some calls to the databases which could be the cause of the high response time?
