Files visibility in SPM UI

Hi,

In SPM UI, the "Data recieved" tab ( Data Managment -> Data Upload Workbench -> Perform Data Upload Tests) has the file names in the following format:

AGREEMENT_DS

BUDGETS_DS

BUYER_DS .... etc.

I think the files here should end with .CSV, So i doubt if these are datasources or files.

Note: All the files are placed in the import folder and data sources are pdated in the table OPM_SOURCES.

If these are not files, please let me know how to access the files ?

Thank you.

Hi,

The 'Data Received' tab displays both flat files placed in the 'import folder' (which can be configured under 'Global settings') or data sources that are updated in the 'OPM_SOURCES' table. The entries maintained in the OPM_SOURCES table are listed without a .csv (unless you name the data sources so).

If you want to see the files that are ready to be loaded you have to place them in the 'Import Folder' that can be specified under 'Global settings' under Data Managment -> Global Settings -> General tab

Hi Rohit,

The files are already placed in the "Import Folder" and the path is specified in the Data Managment -> Global Settings -> General tab.

1) And now when i try to see the files in "Data recieved" tab (Data Managment -> Data Upload Workbench -> Perform Data Upload Tests), they donot appear here (with source system = ALL or Additional files). Could you please suggest ?

2) Also when i start the load from here (Data recieved - tab) using "Start Now", only 8 files data out of 21 are coming to PSA and others are not getting triggered. Please suggest what might be the reason?

Hi,

In addition to placing the files in the right directory you also have to have at least one active source system and one active upload. Looks like you might already have this as you are able to trigger data loads (as you mention 8 loads are pulling data into PSA). Please check to make sure the data files are not corrupted, if you have non-English data make sure the files are in the right format.

You say some data loads are getting triggered, but few are not. There could be several reasons, make sure you assign source systems to each upload that are active

If you are still not able to identify the issue, please open up a message.

Regards,

Rohit
