How to find out a BAPI

Hi friends,

From what i know BAPI is a function module that peforms a particular business task.

Am i right?

How can i find out whether BAPI exists for any particular busines function (like creating sales order or PO). and the name for the function as well.

Is there any peculiar way the BAPi can be found out? or is it just a guess game??
