Service Unavailable + Web AS 6.40

Hello Friends,

I have download and install sap web application 6.40 from sdn. I am creating an application. Things were going fine, I can create and deploy my application. few mins before, my system got hang, I close the server and restart the system. Now after restart I again start the server and deploy my application, it shows me the msg that my application successfully deployed, but when I try to access the application it shows me the following error msg !

503 Service Unavailable

Application stopped!

Details: You have requested an application that is currently stopped

I dont know what happend, I have not stopped any service???

Any idea what can be possibilly wronge ?

    Hi Marek,

    What are you developing the application with and what kind of application is it that you are developing?

    Its hard to diagnose the problem with the limited information from the error message.

    Could you please provide the debug trace from the J2EE engine? (Open the SAP MMC, right click on the J2EE engine and click Developer trace)

    Post the details here.

    Are you using the preview version or the full version?

    • Sorry Marek, I think I have been mistaken. Are you saying that the server is still online just you cannot view the application that you have created? I was thinking that the server was crashing....

      I'm not sure why the application would suddenly stop working as you have described unless the back end environment you are trying to access is having problems..
