Migrating Content Management from EP5 to EP6

Hi,

I need to migrate all the content and configurations from KM5 to KM6 and i'm facing 3 issues. If someone could help me, i'll appreciate.

1 - Migrating workflows?

2 - Migrating Taxonomies?

3 - Very Important! Migrating document versions?

I have already passed all the content, properties and ACLs with ICE. But now i have this 3 issues to solve.

The first and second one, even if it's not possible to do it in an automatic way, ok, i'm already prepared to do it manually, but as far as i know, there is no way to migrate, even manually, the document versions, but this is the more important one.

    Hi,

    a comment regarding workflows:

    The workflow support in EP6 consists of the universal worklist and the Ad-Hoc-Workflow.

    The universal worklist just lists the current workflow inbox items, but does not save or archive them.(in the portal)

    The AdHoc-Workflow is does not have a connection to previous business workflow instances.

    What do you want to import? archived workflows? documents?

    The solution for your data takeover depends on which functionality and data should be migrated. But I think the portal/KM does not offer so much support there.

      Hi,

      I need to migrate all the content (documents, folders, links) created in EP5, to EP6, including versioned documents (very important), ACL's and worflows assigned to the respective folders in EP5, taxonomies. Everything that have been configured and created in KM5 must be passed to KM6.

    Hi

    I´m facing the same problems.

    How do you migrat manualy the workflows?

    Do you go to the DB tables or to each folder and document I see what workflow it has 😊 ?

    The versions is another things that I can´t manage to do.. I know what documents have versions.

    Subscriptions, personal notes, feedbacks nothing passes with ICE except ACL´s, permissions.

    Any script, KM API that can resolve this?

    Could anybody give some ideas how to do this?? code sample peraps??
