Delete overlapping request

Hi

I'd be grateful for any help on this ?

In an Infopackage, when using the option to "Always carry out deletion selection":

1. Is it possible to limit the deletions to Requests loaded from that same InfoPackage only ?

2. What exactly does "Selections Are: Same or More Comprehensive" mean?

3. What exactly does "Selections Are: Overlapping" mean ?

Hi Jon,

about your questions:

1 - Don't think it's so easy as setting flags ... Try so write some ABAP code with the option "Request selection through Routine": you can work on Table RSREQDONE, filtering with LOGDPID value (tech Name).

2 - Pressing F1 on the readiobutton -> "If you set this indicator, requests are only deleted from the InfoCube if the selection conditions of the new request are the same as or more comprehensive than the selection conditions of the request to be deleted."

3 - Always with F1 on the radiobutton -> "If you set this indicator, existing requests are also deleted from the InfoCube if the selection criteria of the new request partially or wholly overlap the selection criteria of the request to be deleted."
