    Hi,

    Primary Wage Type

Per Management --> Personnel Admin --> Payroll Data --> Basic Pay --> Wage Types --> Personnel SubArea grouping for Primary Wagetypes

    Work Schedules

Time Management --> Work Schedules --> Personnel Subarea Groupings -->Group Personnel Subareas for the Work Schedules

    Time Quotas

Time Management --> Time Data Recording and Administration --> Absences --> Absence Catalog --> Absence Counting --> Rules for Absence Counting --> Group Personnel Subareas for Time Quotas

User will not have idea about groupings, as a fucntional consultant you shoud understand the scenario by asking him the rules /conditions for workschedules .. for example if you are creating a new PSA you shoudl know wether it will have same workscheudles, wagetypes etc if yes you can give the existing grouping.., you can find it from V_001P_ALL table or else new grouping

PSA grouping for holidays, workscheduels, wagetypes, absences ,absence quotas etc are important to assign common set of conditions

    Hi,

Even you can ask to the user about any referance PA Like If they already have any PA/PSA whose groupings are same as required PA and that groupings you can use.

      Hi Helen,

While hiring a person you will be entering the position id , personnel area, employee group and subgroup in 0000 infotype. In case if you have maintained the 1008,1013 infotype against the position id then the same will be defaulted when you enter the position id in actions infotype. The other option is directly entering the values in 0000 infotype instead of defaulting it.

The assignment of P.A to PSA will be there in the table V_T001P do check this table by entering the Personnel area and see what are the Personnel subareas been assigned to it.

Then check for the assignment of Personnel area to company code is maintained or not in table V_T500P.

      Hope this solves the issue.

      Regards,

      Mithun K
