Problem with installation - SP1 required

Hello everyone!

I'm trying to instal SAP Web Application Server Java 6.40, but unfortunately, at the very beginning of installation strange error occurs:

"SAPinst has determined that you are running Microsoft Windows NT [Version 5.1.2600 with Service Pack 1] LOCALHOST. You need to download and install Service Pack 1 from http://download.microsoft.com"

My OS is Windows XP Professional, I've got SP 1 and all new XP updates (but I don't have SP 2).

Can anyone help me to solve this problem?

Very strange. Did you try to re-install SP1? Perhaps there were problems when it was installed.

    Regards

      Hello!

I have even reinstalled my all xp but the same error still occurs:( and I've got no idea what to do now.

The error occurs just after accepting the license agreement - next screen, that I can see is the one described in my first post.

Maybe there are some known applications that affect installation of WAS 6.40?

Is it possible, that WAS 6.40 doesn't properly recognize polish version of xp and sp1?

I had no problems installing WAS 6.20...
