Invoking RFC periodically

We are trying a scenario where RFC have to be invoked periodically. How to trigger RFC periodically using BPM. Should we use timer if so …how it will invoke an RFC.

My scenario is to store the response back in DB.

Can anyone elaborate on this?

Thx in Advance,

    Hi Vyas,

BPM + RFC adapter + JDBC adapter should help ur scenario. In BPM you can use the "Wait" step(where you can specify wait time before each call) within a "Loop" step, then do a syncsend to an RFC/BAPI using RFC adapter, get the RFC response back in BPM container, then do an async/sync send to the RDBMS system using JDBC adapter.
