Changing iView's property from another iView

Hallo,

Is possible to change an iView's property from another iView? Have somebody an idea how to do it?

    Hi Josef,

    yes, in general it is, even it is not that easy. You have to access the PCD object (see Get simple Portal Content folder info as a short introduction), and than you should be able to change attributes.

    But take care, it's all very undocumentated...

    Maybe there's also a trick to access the profile in a more direct way, but at least I don't know...

    Hi Josef/Detlev,

    Even i'm trying to chage the property of one iview using another,

    my situation is somethink like I need to change the property of an iview w.r.t client OS.

    any ideas on how to proceed...
