Hi,

It is important to understand the reason for using a public holiday class. The HC defines different treatemnet to a holiday depending upn the HC assigned to it. It also affects Bonuses and Leave quotas. It is used for the selection of Time Wage types, DWS variants, day types and absence counting.

Hope this clarifies.

Thanks

Hi Ravee,

Unfortunately I couldn't find the way to define 3 - 9 holiday classes that's why I am sharing this question, if you can help me with link or steps that would be highly appreciated,

Defining variants is not a problem for me.

Thanks,

As per my knowledge we will not define 3-9 holiday classes,

sap already given 3-9 to use it for customer specific holidays

If I am not wrong we will not defien holiday classes , we assign public holiday classes to the holidays defined in the public holiday calendar

we use std holiday classes ...

Yes we do assign Holiday classes to defined Public Holidays, I do believe b,1,2 are standard classes and from 3 - 9 can be customer specific holiday classes...so my question is where do we configure these 3 - 9 classes,

Thanks,

Hi Piscian ,

what if it's an optional holiday e.g. if employee work will get paid on this day and if employee doesn't work there with be no deduction to his assign quotas and remunerations.

So if customer has this kind of requirement then there must be some ways to sort this out.

if you have time evaluation you can write PCR to check holidayclass(3-9) and then if employee present you can payto him
