Which ITS version to use?

Hello all,

I have installed ITS 6.1(with patch level 21) and using SRM-EBP 3.5 and 4.7 as the r/3.

While running the services from the EBP launchpad,i am getting the error "Flow Execution Failed".

If these services are run explicitly through the browser they work fine.Please help.

You can find the SAP@Web Installation Guide at http://service.sap.com/instguides. It will be under:

SAP Components > SAP Frontend Components (ITS/GUI) > SAP Internet Transaction Server > 6.20

You should use ITS 6.20 as 6.10 is no longer supported. Thanks.

Hello Deepti,

how old is your installation? You should use 6.20 because this is the long term maintainence version.

Hello Gregor,

I have installed ITS 6.1.The flow execution problem was solved after setting the parameters in the table TWPURLSVR.

But now i am facing another problem.When i was publishing some services through the webstudio on to the ITS,the SRM server went down during the process.(I published all the required services in a batch together).

After the services were published successfully,i couldn't start the service "BBPSTART" through the browser.It gave me an IE error that the "cookie is undefined".

Also when i started the service "BBPPU99" through the browser,it gave me the error that the "LOGON FAILED.COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE R/3 SYSTEM-SYSTEM NUMBER NOT SPECIFIED".

I didn't change any of the settings in SRM system.Is the error since i tried publishing all the services together or is it due to error in some of the services of ITS.Please help.

I tried restarting ITS but it didn't help.Will installing ITS 6.2 help/reinstalling ITS 6.1?

Also what is the system path to be set for <JAVA_HOME> variable while installing ITS 6.2?I downloaded ITS 6.2 COMP 5 from services site but while running the sapinst it gave the error "file LABEL.asc not found".

You should use 6.2 since it's faster and I thought that 6.1 isn't supported anymore.

Hi Deepti,

To use flowlogic on an ITS server the services SPIGITS and SHUFFLER must be published on the ITS. This cam be done with the report W3_PUBLISH_SERVICES or transactions se80.

If these services are already published, check your SRM customizing. Incomplete customzing of SRM can also cause this error.
