Custom quotation transaction type

Hello,

I have created a custom transaction type 'ZAG' as an exact copy of the standard transaction type 'AG' via SPRO config in SAP CRM GUI and activated the channel 'Web UI Client'. However, when I log on to Web UI and create a new quotation, only the standard quotation 'AG' is available. But when I try to create a new sales order, 'ZAG' shows up in the list of sales order types.

I am not able to figure out why 'ZAG' is configured as a sales order and not as a quotation.

Please provide your inputs on this. Thanks in advance.

This depend on item categories assigned to ZAG transaction type. All item categories must be classified as quotation items, otherwise the ZAG is used as sales order.
