Hi Laurent,

you can easily export PSA data by:

  • creating an ABAP pgm by which you can extract what you want (consider that PSA is a transparent table with key: request number, data package e record number) and download it with some FM like MS_EXCEL_OLE_STANDARD_DAT

  • creating a datasource against your PSA, feed an ODS (with the same key of your PSA) and then export its content via open hub service

  • XML can be used only for a limited amount of data per call...you can use a query on your PSA data (after its logical loading in infoprovider) and then use SOAP technology to export in this format

Hope it helps (and please don't forget to assign some points by clickin'on the yellow star to the contributors that help you !!!)

I know I'll repeat myself but I guess there are not too many people in this forum reading the license restriction. Any of Roberto's suggestions requires additional licensing from SAP if you want to import the data in another data warehouse or similar application. Check it with your SAP representative.

My aim is to keep some PSA data in a safe place and to be able to re-load from that place into BW.

A straightforward solution is Oracle export of the PSA tables but I wanted to know whether BW (within standard license agreement) can cope with this request.

Thanks.
