Special Child Support Orders.

Client has a requirement where he receives some special child support Garnishment Orders for few employees for which Health Insurance Premium should be deducted as a mandatory deduction. So for these special child orders disposable pay would be less than the usual.

We thought of changing the processing class 59 of the benefit wage type. But by doing so it changes for all the employees.

Is there any standard functionality in SAP to configure this requirement?

Thanks,

CK.

Fixed this by changing the PC59 to 4 for all the wage types included in the model disp net.

1. All the child support has one set of non exempt rules in T5UG4 for each of your states. Find out which states are impacted, then for those states you need to create new values in this table.

2. To create entries in the Rules for Calculation of the Non-Exempt Amount table- T5UG4 , you need new "Model of the disposable net". Create the new model in T5UG5 and assign the Health Ins Premium/ HIS wagetypes in T5UG2.

3. After doing step2 and 1. Whenever your admin tries to enter a garnishment in IT, they should pick the new "Rule Non-exempt" in IT0195 if it is special scenario else the standard Rule Non-exempt model.

Hope this helps.

Amosha- I tested exactly what you suggested. But for some reason the program is still not making Health Insurance Premium mandatory. Do you think I am missing anything?
