SAP BPC data not sending - Internet Explorer 9?

Hi,

We are currently expierincing an issue with a user that sending data from an input scheulde sometimes does not work. Once the send button is pressed, a message appears that 36 records will be sent to the database. once you press ok, nothing happens and the excel status bar says 'Ready'.

The BPC server is BPC NW 7.5 SP7.

The user runs windows 7 and has thenew internet explorer 9. Can SAP BPC run with IE 9.0 installed. We have tried to downgrade to IE 8, but the installs from microsoft only support Win XP and Vista.

Is there a solution for this?

Hi,

Did you upgrade BPC client to 7.5 SP7 patch2 ?Both of your server and client should be at same SP level.

Hi again,

We did manage to downgrade the IE (uninstall windows update for IE 9), but we still have the saem issue.

Is there a way to check the version of the client and server. (don;t have access to the server box).

At the moment on the login screen it says 7.50.07. As far as I know we don't have any patches installed, but I will as the question any way.

Hi,

Login in to back end via sap logon pad.

From initial screen goto System -->Status click on Component information(Button with lens). System would prompt to you another window to check for SP for all SAP components. Under 1st coloumn check for CPMBPC and find the version accrross.

Hi,

i guess, it doesn't have any problem with IE 9.0 or 8.0. since OS is windows 7, try to apply patches for MS EXCEL.....i mean look for some available patches in MS excel for windows 7.
