dear experts.

i got an error in goods receipt MIGO i.e "Numbe

r range for trans./event type WE in year 2011 does not exist"

But I gave no.ranges to WE,WA,RE,

the message text is "Number range for trans./event type WE in year 2011 does not exist"

Message no. M7562

Diagnosis

The number range for document number assignment has not been maintained in the year 2011 for the transaction/event type WE.

Procedure

Contact your system administrator.

If you are authorized to do so, do you want to check the number ranges for the

u2022 Material documents

u2022 Reservations?

Hi,

Go to T code OMBT and select the maintain icon, select Material documents for goods receipts checkbox and click on maintain.

Check the years for which the number range is maintained. If it is not maintained for the year 2011, maintain it

I think this will resolve this issue in your case...
