User roles needed to test message mapping in ESR

Dear All,

A user is given MONITORING roles in PI box. If the user wants to test a message mapping , then what exact role do I need to provide ? I gave SAP_XI_DEVELOPER_J2EE role to the user, but with that role, the user is able to modify/delete/craete objects.

Is there any specific role which permits testing message mapping only.

Thanks for your reply : I tried both the options :

SAP_XI_DEVELOPER - Able to test mapping; but can change/modify/create objects too.

SAP_XI_DISPLAY_USER - Unable to execute mapping.Only view ESR objects

I went through the links , but only to execute message mapping, there is no such specific role. Please let me know if there is some other technic by which I can restrict access to execute mapping only(no create/modify/delete)

Hi,

If you just need to test the mapping, the ABAP transaction SXI_MAPPING_TEST would help.

No need to log in to integration repository.
