Customising new hire HCM process

Hi,

My requirement is to build a new hire process for us empoyees, I was able to create the process well, but when i execute the process in hrasr_test_process i found, when I supply the pernr then the value help for the Emp grp, empSubgrp and other fields are coming, but same value helps does not come when I dont give any pernr .

I have gone throught many threads, and std process hire_10/hire_01 they are using a back end service s_HIRE_ADD_FUNCTIONS/S_HIRE_ADD_US_FUNCTION, i did the smae way but no use.

Please help in as this is very imp critical issues.
