Hello,
My loading failure because to this error, this error first occured in a FULL request which was incorrectly started, but the new Delta request also had this error. on my understanding, the FULL update stopped due to this error, it does not impact subsequent Delta request, how can I settle it?
Any inputs are highly appreciated
Peter
Hi,
you ran a full load with the same selections after you ran a Init with data transfer, that is why it throws an error.
Delete the init and reload it, Please follow the steps below.
1) Goto Info package Click on Scheduler (from the Menu bar) and then select --> Initialization options for source system, now you can a pop-up screen .. Delete the INIT request
2) As soon as you delete the INIT request, you will notice the Delta update will be disappeared from the Update tab in the Info package(this is because you delete the delta pointer/INIT req).
3) Now you run IP with INIT with data transfer and then you a Delta

thanks to you all.
The FULL update iis an unwanted load started wrongly by my colleague, I don't want to do a Full request,
but subsequent normal Delta load failed because of this same error, in my option, Delta request later could run smoothly,
how can I startt Delta request ? and does the failed Full request result in missed data? if so, how to load the missed data?
BTW, how to repeat a request?
Hi ....
I think you are in BW 3.X....
ODS doesn't support Full upload and delta upload in parallel......due to this you should always go for a Full repair if required.......not a Full upload....
So....to fix the issue...either delete the Full request or convert the Full request to Full repair using the FM : RSSM_SET_REPAIR_FULL_FLAG....
try it....it may resove your issue.....
Otherwise you have to go for a re-init..

Debjani...
Hi
what is the error message you are getting when you load the delta?
is it normal delta or 'repeat delta'?
Thanks,
Krishnan

It seems that you're trying to do a Full update where an Delta Init has already been done, from the same source.
Once the Delta has been initialized, you can only do a Repeat Delta so as not to disturb the existing Delta.
Please check your requirements.
You will not be able to do a Full request from the same source.
