Inexisting BAPI_FLIGHT_GETLIST in our SAP system IDES

Dear all,

I am a newby in netweaver Webdynpro and running the very good tutorial SDN provide us.

For the first time, I am trying to connect to a SAP IDES standard system 4.6C.

I used the BAPI_GETFLIGHT tutorial, unfortunately I can't find this BAPI. Instead I found something similar BAPI_SFLIGHT_GETLIST. Quite every tutorial talk about the GETFLIGHT, is it possible to install (or generate) these BAPI (special trainings, ...?) or do you have some code example(get company list, ...)simple working on IDES 4.6C, the goal is to check the development environement, at the SAP architecture level, is well configured with our SAP portal.

    Hi Rui,

you could ask your local SAP admin, if he will install the required BAPIs. Another possiblity is to use the SFLIGHT-versions for the tutorial(s), but then you'll have to apply some minor changes to the tutorial projects, since the SFLIGHT BAPI interfaces are not similar to the "standard". In the latter case this would also be a good practice for yourself 😉, but of course a little bit too much effort if you just want to check your development environment.

    Hope that helps.

    Regards

    Stefan
