New Storage Unit type is not proposed during TO creation

Hi all,

Scenario:

I have created new Storage Unit type ST

also created new Storage Type 002.

Also created new Bin gtype ST.

created Storage Bins for new Bin Type ST.

Activated Strg Type search for 002

Activated Strg Section section

Actiated Strg Bin Search for Strg Type 002/ Bin Strg Type St

Activated Strg Bin type St to Strg Type St

While creating Transfer order for Putaway the New Storage unit type ST is not prepopsed by system.

& getting error message

No destination storage bin to be found in storage type 002 .

If I change Strg Unit Type manually to ST than all is fine.

But I want system to proppose this new strg unit type to be proposed for my material

Requesting your help.

Kindly tell me what should I check now

Hi

- Check whether SUT is active at storage type level.

- Also Check whether you have assigned storage unit type at WM 2 view

System will Check as per the below sequence

1 Storage type - in your case it is identified.

2 Storage section - Check search strategy

3 Storage bin type - Check search strategy

4 storage bin - Check search strategy

Got the answer on my own.

New Storage Unit Type was not assigned to the Packaging Material Type in the node

Log Gen --> HU mgt --> Basics --> WM --> Assign Strg Unit to Packg Mtrl Type
