Product Category ID does not appear in transaction

Hi,

I am creating opportunities and adding products in the transaction, however, whenever a product is added, the product list fields 'Category ID' and 'Category' remain blank and grey out - the document contains no errors as well.

Product has been assigned a category and is working fine, I have also tried with an assignment of multiple product categories but it didnt work. Need some inputs please. Thnx.

    Settings had to be made in COMM_PRAPPLCAT.
