Copying long text from reference document

Createing new quotation reference to old quotation by using create with reference all data is copied except long text. so how to copy long text also?

if anybody knows please let me know.

Are you talking about the text determination?

Thanks for reply.Yes its text determination.

Actually when we are creating new quotation with reference to old quotation so whatever text we are maintained in header text of old quotation that should be copy in new quotation using create with reference option.

Hi,

In text determination it is possible.Select your text procedure and double click Text ID's in text procedure.Now flag the refer/Duplicate box and assign the access seq.This will make the text to be copied from one document to the other.

I tried as per your instruction but still its not copied header text from reference document.

Hi Nitin,

It will work,i think you have not created the access and assigned.Kindly assign the access which is next to Text is obligatory feild.Check wheather the access is available other wise you have to create it.

Recently i hacve faced the same problem,and after assigning,it is working fine.

Hi Nitin,

In access seqence for Text ID's did you maintain seq,Text Object[your case VBBK] and the ID.If you do this it will work.

Yes Venu I maintained the access sequance for VBBK. actualy it is replaced description of first text id of reference document to all text id in header text in new document.

You have to create access seq for all the text type you have and make the determination accordingly.Then it will work.
