User Authorisation

Dear Experts..

I have set some authorization on a limited logistic user but got some problems.

Now user can't open tax codes list in any marketing forms. I have authorized that user for tax in Administrator>Setup>Finance>Tax as Full Authorization and also set Full Authorization on Financials>Tax.

And same as on Unit Price. There is FMS set on Purchase Order in Unit Price field.

I can't able to find where & what authorization blocking these fields.

Plz help.

Hi Ravi.........

Even through Logistic has Full Authorization his License Type is Limited so he can not g to administration module.

He can perform only limited functions related to his License Type.......

He can play only in Inventory,Sales,Purchase and Production...........

I am sorry if I was not much clear.

Actually I have set Authorisations on logistic users.

Suppose any user go to Purchase and making purchase orders. But in row level he can not open tax code to select from and so on unit price is also blocked & unit price has a FMS set but not on Tax field.

But according to you logistic user can not access Administrator options or settings that is right but I am not saying that instead user can not open tax list in p.o. to select from .

Ok.........

Is that user no able to select the desired tax code in the list or when he is try to give Tab he is not getting list of Tax code?

Is it? Or List of tax code is opening but the tax code he wants to select is not in Tax Code list.......

Please clarify me......

Hi..

Yes .. you got right.

Actually unit price & tax code fields are blocked.

As like when in form settings we set fields on visible but not on active & that particular field got blocked for editing now condition is exact like that.

I already checked it in form settings both active & visible options are checked.

Hi Ravi.......

Go to General Authorization. Select the user and under Sales Module just give authorization for Change in Row Amount, Tax Only. And same in Purchasing AP also give authorization to Change in Tax Distribution and tax only........

This will solve your problem........

Hi Ravi,

For particular user in authorizations window , set Change authorization from Change Row amounts to Full aunthorizations .
