ALV grid , text paragraph of 3 to 4 sentences should appear in single cell.

Hi Experts,

I would like to display few sentences in the ALV report in a single cell, is that possible i am using oops concept to get the

report. here data of texts are not same so that i cant sort or merge. i used lvc_t_fcat "wa_fieldcat-no_merging" also it doesnt work.

Please suggest me a way to get it displayed.

in word wrap, the length of data which exceeds the column lenght will be brought down to second row, but my requirement is to display all the rows of that column in a single cell. is that possible

Hi,

I think that is not possible. Instead first you loop the internal table and append that column values to a string. Now again pass the final internal table to ALV with Word Wrap Functionality but this will cum in a single row..!!

that idea i tried, but the drawback of ALV grid is, it can hold only 128 characters per row , so if the text exceeding that will be truncated
