You need to create a JDBC System in portals for the same.

Please see my reply to Asad Rizvi's message today titled 'Preview of ESS MSS iviews in EP 6.0 SP2'.

You need to follow the same path for the documentation you require, only in the last step instead of SAP system properties, see details of JDBC system properties.
