SAP for Windows 7 home Permium

Hi SAP Experts

I serached the download link and found that for Prequisite for Windows is to have Windows Professional.

I am a SAP FICO consultant and wants to pratice on FICO and ABAP.

Is there any way by which I can use SAP on Windows 7 Home Premium?

Also does SAP Netweaver supports FICo module like customization and all or does it supports only ABAP pratice.

Thanks

Nikhil

    No.

The legally downloadable package here in the download area contains a Netewaver basis system to develop and customize. It does not contain any business functionaltiy. To get your hands on to an ERP (or IDES) system you need to have a license.

    Hi Nikhil,

I have heard about Rapid Installers, but the irony is that at the download place even though you have 32 bit installations, either of the other component will mismatch or will be incompatible when you come to windows 7

    • Windows may be considered as Windows 2008, while selecting SAP dumps. That would required Oracle 11 and Netweaver 7.0 or higher netweaver versions.

    • you wuld have to have access to SUIDs to keep on deploying temp licenses as long as you want o practice.

    • 4.7 and ECC versions have been earlier installed successfully and desktops, but the windows 7 would not be adequate for it (will be too much)

My best suggestion is get a Virtual machine installed, install Windows XP on it, you may get windows 2003 as well if you are thorough with various download tolls from the net. Then you can properly get basic SAP running.

Another caution, you need minimum of 4 GB or RAM and a good 200 GB hard disk space as well.

I would have a no go for this option. Sir, get you company to have some good practice.

    Regards,

      Hi Varun

Thanks for your response. But would do you mean by the last line "Sir, get you company to have some good practice.".

      It sounds offensive.

I want the trial version of SAP for my practice purpose.

      Regards
