Update SEQNR field - PA0000.

Hi Experts,

The scenario here is:

A set of employees are to be terminated who were wrongly hired with position 00000000.

So now we are trying to run an action Organisational reassignment to change the position to 99999999

and then terminate them.

But while running the action in PA40, it goes to dump saying, Database inconsistency for personnel number , infotype 0000.

On debugging, we have found that for these employees, the field SEQNR - PA0000 is blank.

This field is supposed to be filled automatically, while hiring.

Kindly guide us on how to maintain this field now, so that we could proceed with the action.
