Email Button in SPM

Hi

When we are trying to send an email from SPM, we are not getting the send button neither we can move the send dialog window to see the send button. Is this a product bug because if we use SPM full screen we can not type in the email? If yes do we need to raise an OSS for this?

Regards

    Hi Rohit

Also as suggested by Neil we can open the Application in a New Window. In this case we get the full view and the application directs to the URL http://<host>:port/flex/index.html but we are not able to login to the application with this URL

Is it possible we directly see this full application page once we login

    Regards

    Neel

      Hi Neel,

You need to login to the portal first before launching the application using the URL directly. In the BW portal for the SPM iView you can set the property to launch the application in a new browser window.

    Hi,

This to me seems like a screen resolution issue and not a bug. Please use your browser full screen function (F11 key) and that should minimize most of the browser menu bars which eat up quite a bit of real estate.

Secondly when you use the SPM maximize function the only valid key is ESC, which is a adobe flash player limitation and not SPM.

    Regards,

    Rohit

      Hi,

It is possible to use SPM in full screen mode with this work around. If you click the "options" menu from within the portal (just above the full screen mode and spend advisor button) and choose "Open in new window." From that screen you can then press F11 and your browser will open the SPM UI in full screen without the typing restriction.

      Kind regards,

      Neil

    Hi Rohit

Generally the other flash dialogs can be moved to see the spend button. The users want that when the flash dialog is displayed it gets adjusted to the size of the browser and the SEND button gets dispayed accordingly
