Hi

i wanted to recreate this below error . i want to know the symptoms (recreation) in SRM 700 while creating shopping cart

Total of percentages must equal 100

But distribution is 100 only . user did not split distribution too.

I need a help to recreate the same issue.

This is happen :- one symptom observed

before saving the cart , user deletes one line item and later user was doing some action which i dont know.

Hi,

If your using clip board functionality then we can replicate the same error.

I observed the same when we use the clip board functionality its not allowing to split the distribution.

you try to create accounting line by pasting accounting line from clip board you can replicate this one.

I am on SRM 700 SP 9

this is truely irritating error message for end users and business.

"Total of percentages must equal 100"

how user felt bad about the system though percentage on account assignment is 100 .

i could not recreate in some environments..any help is appreciated to replicate this error.

i want to simply replicate ...

I need to replicate same error in Quality environment then only business allow me to implement this note

There is no SYMPTOM given in the note. what user action gives this error.

As you aware business will not allow till we replicate the issue.

I need your assistance to replicate the issue .

SAP also offered this note but how to replicate the issue in quality environment.

Requesters are away from me. they frequently get this error.they get annoyed..

assume that user entered 10 to 32 line item and while clicking CREATE he get this error. user again hold the cart and try to check what item it was but every thing ok. again he CHECKS he get this error.

whole his effort become waste to create a cart.Totally annoyed with the system and he may go for new cart .. again he starts from scratch...( he may pray god not to get this error)

I'd suggest that you ask the user the steps to recreate this issue. Then try to create the same problem in DEV environment. Then you could apply the note in DEV, and after testing with positive result, release to QA.

I would .ask the user to save the SC when they get the error and you can check what happening with that SC and which lin item is the culprit.

indeed user entered 100 only for each line item. it was a misleading error message

Yes Devi ,. it mainly due to some actions on account assignment tab.

item- account assignment tab

either copy / delete / change all items troubling us.

no clue on bbp_pdacc tables.

have a ever replicated this? sap even did not mention it in their correction notes to replicate this issue.

Even i tried to replicate but no success but i am sure i saw the same scenario in SC. I am sure i got when i was trying with split accounting. I will let u know on this.

Hi Muthu,

This issue we faced mainly for split accound assignmnet. say user added two line item with 50% each then he deleted both the line item or either one and added another line items and assigned percentage to make total percentage 100 still system was showing total of percentage should be 100 %.

the culprit was the sequence number of the deleted line item which was also taken into account when adding percentage. so you can try by adding account assignmnet line then deleteing that line and adding another line. the sequence number in account assignmnet should not be 1.

I could replicate like below

add 1 item in the cart

and duplicate many times till 11 item

and delete 3 rd line item

and go to 1o item account assignment tab

click addline

again i deleted a newly added line ( 0002 cost center etc)

and check no error

but while I click CREATE i get below error

but the same i could not replicate in sand box system

but i could replicate in Dev system.

i need your help to replicate the same in sandbox too
