When i upgrade universe and webi document from R2 to XI3.1 using import wizard.
1.Import wizard import universe from XIR2 to XI3.1
2.Import wizard import webi report from XIR2 to XI3.1.
3.find SI_WEBI_DOC_PROPERTIES disappeared when select * from ci_infoobjects where...
4.open the webi report in infoview, then point the universe again, save the document.
5.repeat step3.
6.will find whe SI_WEBI_DOC_PROPERTIES appear again.
but there are some changes, [UnivID=],[ShortName=] disappear, [UnivName]contains the universe shorname.
When create a new webi doc base on the same universe, unvid, shortname, univName will be generated correctly.
Question:
This behavior is correct or not?
Thanks
What happens if you during Import Wiz run select Webi reports and then universes they use in the single step ?
Could it be possible that your reports in R2 do not have associated universe ?

Hi Denis,
My customer got this issue when import report and universe by different biar file.
Now their company decide to use the way importing report and universe by two steps.
It seems they want to confirm every file is completely imported.
So the SI_WEBI_DOC_PROPERTIES behavior when using their steps to import report and unv,
will not impact their system?
I dis some research SI_WEBI_DOC_PROPERTIES seem contains prompt information.
And universe shortname instead of unvid and unv name, but cuid still exist.
SO we could see there is no problem, is it correct?
Thanks
Randy
I have never had a need to look inside SI_WEBI_DOC_PROPERTIES when using Import Wizard with proper import method, which is to migrate reports and their universes together.
p.s.
Webi no longer uses universe short name in Xi3.x , it is using SI_NAME to find universe if CUID is no longer available.
This has been confirmed by SAP Dev's recently.
