Hi Madhavi

Good Question. Actually the roles and responsibilities of a HR consultant depends upon the project he is working and the level of experience he has.

Some of the roles can be

Studying the complete business process of the client, Understanding the client requirements, finding the gaps from legacy data to SAP, Preparation of Business Ble Print, Configuration of BBP to SAP, Testing the project in various ways and etc..

Hope you got some idea.

Thanks Jagdeesh,

One more question -as I am fresher & having domain exp. Of 6-7 months as well as I am from non-IT background (education and work exp.), what do you think whether I have to go for ABAP HR OR for SAP HR?

Thanks & Regards ,

Madhavi

Personally i dont think 6-7 months is good enough but this should not the point , we can learn all the functinal related activities too after joining SAP HCM. some time Exposure matters than experience but this is my personal view.

Whether it will matter lot if rather to go for certified course I will go for non certified course? And as a fresher can I get the exposure for implementation project?

Hi,

As per the instruction by Mr.Sikinder, This is not possible to learn 6 to 7 months & he is very senior person in SAP HR Field.

Firstly you should study related payroll i.e. Statutory related activity, PF , ESIC, LWF, P.TAX, INCOME TAX, Salary processing, Leave encasement, Full & final settlement, time office and what is required supporting document & how to comply, these all activity you should learn in detail & how it is work actually.

Then after you can understand & easy.

Certification adds more value to your CV and oppurtunities will be more than non certified people , but certification will helps you only upto entry level once you enter you have to learn by yourself because Cerfification will not cover each and every topic

So Good luck

Iam not that much senior any ways thans santosh , There are many good seniors in the forum who can guide you much better
