Mapping Error - IDoc

Hello all,

I am sending a PO as an IDoc(ORDERS04) from 4.6c to 4.7(ORDERS04) which should be posted as a Sales order in the target system.

I tested by sending an IDoc from 4.6c to 4.7. The IDoc is received in 4.7 but with the status code 51. I need to add the extra segments of E1EDK14 for filling up the SORG, Dist. Chnl. , Division and Order type.Right now i dont use any mapping at all...since both the sides are exchanging the same IDoc type.

What is the best way to do it?

What is needed to be done on the mapping side in IR?

Could anyone help me out?

Bye and Regards,

Swadesh Kumar.

    Hello Swadesh,

Since Source (Sender) & Target (Receiver) are IDocs, the mapping will be fairly easy. You don't need any Data Types etc. Just go to Message Mapping & hard code the values (Constants) in E1EDK14 in case they will always remain same. Other option is to extend (customize) the sending PO IDoc to include the relevant fields & then map them to the SO in the receiving IDoc.

Let me know if you have further questions.
