Are there known problems with uniqeness tests?

We are on version 14.2.3.574 of information steward

I have some data held in text files, which I can profile columns and perform simple rules on. I am having no success when analysing uniqueness however.

1. When testing a rule using the "is_unique" syntax, every test passes, the rule does not fail data that is not unique.

2. I try to analyse uniqueness, via profiling or a rule using "is_unique", the jobs always fail with an error message of "you do not have the right to 'Edit objects'", which I don't think is appropriate as I have full access rights.
