SNP order conversion - Alternative modes in PDS PP/DS

Hi SAP Experts,

Do you know how to control the mode chosen by the system when using the heuristic SAP_SNP_MULT?

We have several SNP PDSs generated, one for each machine and in the PP/DS we are working with alternative modes. When doing the conversion the system always chooses the mode with highest priority even when the SNP planned order was generated in a SNP PDS that has the resource with lower priority.

Any idea on how to control it would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you are using PPM's this can be achevied by enabling the "Use SNP Source of supply" check box in the heuristics.

This reqmt can't be achevied in the case of PDS .You need to check for any BADI.

I remember one BADI is available wherein you can change the source of supply during the PPDS Planned Order creation

Hi Nandha,

We are using PDS, that's the point, I couldn't find nay BADI to do so. We need to change not the source of supply but the assigned mode.
