Hi ,

My scenario is : I have one central instance and one instance at plant , if say a Production order is creted in Plant , it should get replicated in central instance as well , This is a transaction data , I saw examples for material master, vendor masters.

but not for transaction data , so any help with production order , goods movement replication will help.

Regards

Hi Yashpal,

I have one central instance and one instance at plant , if say a Production order is creted in Plant , it should get replicated in central instance as well ,

What do you mean by central instance and another instance, are they separate instances having separate databases, and running MRP independently? Or MRP is run on only one system?

Normally you do not replicate transaction data(hence youa re not able to find examples) as they will replicate(duplicate) the changes on your inventory, availability etc.

If you can provide more information on your actual requirement and the business scenario, i am sure the experts(who have more sound knowledge from a functional perspective) can give you a better idea to achieve your requirement, than what you are trying to achieve via replication.

Hi,

Chen said most.

If you need the "replication" for some kind of planning purposes, you may consider to set up an APO instance. Then you will have integration models that will automatically transfer transaction data to the APO system.

The question remains unanswered: What are you doing, what's going wrong, what do you want to achieve?

my scenario is as below,

we have a central ERP and multiple ERP systems ( 1 for each plant ) , master data will be maintained and distrubuted from central instance , and all transaction will be done on plant specific system , so if in case plant system is down , we want to run the business from central instance , to this we want all the transaction data to be syncronized with central ERP system .

right now we want to do for production order creation ,changes in order , goods movement to be syncronized.
