Hi All,

I changed the exsisting info structure key figure and regenerate the info structure, next deleted the update groups and created new update groups.

Now while moving chanes to quality system tranport is in error as below

Post-import method MCS_METHOD_INFO_GENER started for MCIN L, date and time: 20110629171424

Activation was interrupted

Errors occurred during post-handling MCS_METHOD_INFO_GENER for MCIN L

The errors affect the following components:

LO-LIS-DC (Data Collection)

Searche SAP not and SDN forum, found SAP Note 115538 - Changing of self-defined info structures MC22

I followed case 1 steps as below and re generated info sturucture again in new request and moved to quality but same error.

1. Case

The info structure does not contain any update data or the contained update data is to be deleted

Call Transaction SE14

-> Enter the affected information structure SXXX

-> Edit (status: revised and saved)

-> 'Activate and adjust database'

-> Do the same for structure SXXXE

Call Transaction MC22%

Check the LIS is activated or not in QA. Run RV80HGENB in QA to activate LIS.

Hi Laxmipathi,

Thanks, Checked all SAP notes, but my system is ECC 6.0, all below are applicable to 4.7 only.

Can i delete entire info structure and re create the same?? if i do, what all precaution need to take and what all risks are there??

Hi,

Since it is a user defined info-structure make sure you dont have any standard structures referenced under it.

Else, deleting will cause the entire system to crash.

Updating will start from the point you create it and existing data may not be recorded.

Regards,

Amit

Today is a miserable day for me as I had to delete more than ten times since this thread was flowing repeatedly

Coming to the issue, will study and comment later

thanks
