Hello ,
I attempted creating a very simple BSP using the 'Create a Basic BSP Application' tutorial found in the SAP Help. I also created a service of the same name as the BSP application in the transaction SICF under 'default_host/sap/bc/bsp/'.
The problem is that when i execute the BSP appication in either the test mode or by directly giving out the URL , I get u a pop-up window asking for my credentials even though i have furnished them in the 'service data' of the service i have created. And even when I give out the credentials, I get the following error on the browser.
Business Server Page (BSP) Error
Was ist passiert?
Call of BSP page terminated due to error.
Note
Following error text processed in system:
BSP Exception: Die URL enthält keine vollständige Domainangabe (erpserver statt erpserverERPSERVER).
Error Type: Exception
Your SAP Business Server Pages Team
The url that gets used is 'http://erpserver:8000/sap/bc/bsp/sap/testbsp/default.htm?sap-client=800&sap-sessioncmd=open'.

Praveen

NOTE : I get exactly the same error when I try to test standard BSP applications as well.
Hi Praveen.
Just go thru the following weblog by Brian.
/people/brian.mckellar/blog/2003/09/25/bsp-in-depth-fully-qualified-domain-names
for your error. i think it will solve the problem.
and it should not ask the credentials once you entered in the service.
have you saved and activated after entering the credentials
Regards
Naresh
