CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB Error while processing dimension with ParentH1

Hi All

I am trying to process dimension after loading its master data with DM package and maintaining PARENTH1 but I am getting following error:

An exception with the type CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause

The database returned a value containing an error.

I am getting this error even with one member in dimension. Without PARENTH1, the process is getting successfully completed.

I Could not find any note for this error.

Please help on this.

I agree with Sanjeev,

we faced similar problem and could resolve with changing the lower case to upper case. If not check if there are any dumps in ST22. dump gives you some more information on how to deal with the error resolution.

Hi,

We are not able to find any logs in ST22.

with out PARENTH1 Property it will processing successful, when I add PARENTH1 its giving me the error message

just simply adding the property PARENTH1, with out assigning any child's also its giving the above error message

Please help me to overcome the issue.

Dev elopement server its working fine, but in Production only its giving the error message.

Hi ,

We had a similar error while adding a package in Excel client.

It was a case sensitive issue. Please change the member to lower case and viceversa and try processing the dimension to see if it works.
