In HCM PMS, managres and TMS use the Cascading BAdi's (team goals / values, etc) to cascade the objectives. If so, why should anybody enhance these BAdi's. What are the business reasons?
badis are used to add extra login or achieve different functonality which is not happenin in standard, if you have no use of it then its okay without it.

KNaidu - these aren't badis definitions specific to cascading goals, but badi implementations. The fixed enhancement badi allows criteria to come into the appraisal form and the cascading goals implementations bring in different types of goals. there are several other fixed enhancements implementations- adding qualifications, job families, lso items, etc.
You would likely enhance this Badi with your own implementation if you wanted to bring in some other type of data into the form.
