unable to generate charts in a report

HI

I made a report in web i through universe connected from SAP BW

I am able to generate data but i want to assign a chart on the basis of the report data but its not coming

and

while im dragging any form of chart in the report it is showing the chart on basis of report calculation but then not the report.....

pls help me to solve this problem.

hi Nayab,

After you create the report needed for Chart, click on the left side top corner of the Report data, Copy the report and paste it next to it, Now drop the chart on the copied report tab. In that way you will be able to see the report and chart next to each other.

Did u mean to say that the chart is not populating according to the report you generated previously ?

Instead of dragging the cheart into the report. right click on it and convert it to the chart u dedired. Or put the chart in the report and go to view mode and add diimensions and measures as desired and run the report.

Lemme know if it doesn't solve the problem.

Hi,

Please make sure you are selecting at least one measure object in the table before converting to chart.then right click on the table and click on the Turn to Chart and select any chart.
