Error : /PartnerPlatformService/service/app/logon.do

Hello Guru,

I have installed BOE XI 3.1, FP 3.4 and SAP IK 3.1, FP 3.4.

After i installed BO Enterprise and integration kit on server, i tried to run CMC and Infoview to check if everything is working fine and in Authentication i was not able to see SAP option. by checking few threads i was able to find out the some changes needs to be done in the following file.

1. C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\CmcApp\WEB-INF

2. C:\Program Files (x86)\Business Objects\Tomcat55\webapps\InfoviewApp\WEB-INF

(<!--

Configurable logon service

These 2 configurations allow one to customize the location of the logon service

config.logon.service.context: the service context path. e.g. /InfoViewApp

config.logon.service.url: the service url without context path. e.g. /logon/logon.do

-->

<context-param>

<param-name>config.logon.service.context</param-name>

<param-value>/PartnerPlatformService</param-value>

</context-param>

<context-param>

<param-name>config.logon.service.url</param-name>

/service/app/ logon.do

</context-param>

)

I have done above changes in both the files. Then i restarted the SIA and Tomcat Server and i got the below error

"The requested resource (/PartnerPlatformService/service/app/logon.do) is not available"

I don't have a folder called PartnerPlatformService in TOMCAT55 folder... What i have to do to resolve this problem ?

Regards,

Komik Shah

    Hello Guru,

    I was able to run Infoview and CMC after repairing BOE FP 3.5 again. I want to see Authentication as "SAP" but i am not getting SAP option over there.

    My Question : I saw some thread and i want to know whether i have to deploy "PartnerPlatformService" to solve my problem and get SAP as Authentication ?

    When i looked at BOE 3.1 installation files to re-deploy the PartnerPlatformService ( "D:\SAP BO Softwere\SAP BOE XI 3.1 Enterprise Server\51038908\package\wdeploy\apps") , i was not able to see PartnerPlatformService in my installation Directory. How to Re-dploy PartnerPlatformService if i don't have PartnerPlatformService if it is not available in installation directory ?

    Your help is much appreciated. Do let me know the next step.

    Regards,

    Komik Shah
