How can I know which service reference should I write in the "ServicesReference=" part of a profile file, in order to use a specific service? (apart from htmlb, knowledgemanagement and usermanagement, I never needed to use other services references).

I currently need it for PcmObjectService, but I would like to know how can I find it generally for other services as well.

Thanks ahead,

    Hi Yoav,

first, you are on EP5, as I saw from other threads by yours, right?! You should always give this information, for most people in here remember EP5 as something which has been very, very long ago...

Second, PcmObjectService only exists on EP6.

Third: For EP5, search under ...\WEB-INF\plugins\portal\services with a tool like WinRAR or JarFinder for the class you are looking for. In EP5, as said, PcmObjectService doesn't exist. But if it would, the service reference name would be the name of the dir under WEB-INF\plugins\portal\services.

Fourth: For EP6 it's the same as for EP5 but under ...\WEB-INF\portal\portalapps

Fivth: For EP6, the solution would be

Sixth: On EP6, "ServicesReference" only exists for historical reasons (on EP5). SharingReference and PrivateSharingReference do the job.

    Hope it helps
